Some pictures of the Vintage day on Sunday 8/8
The event was pretty well attended considering it came at the end of the week-long Vane A championships at Gosport. The highlight of the day was the sinking of Roger Thomas' RA "Firebird" - this appears to have been caused by two layers of the hull (it was built by the 'bread and butter' method many years ago) coming unglued. Fortunately, it was rescued reasonably easily despite its weight when full of water.
