Join Us We have 3 types of Membership.

We have three types of membership at HCMYC, which are:-
1. Full
membership…………. £24-50 per season (January to December).
This entitles you to race, use the clubhouse and park up to 3 boats in the clubhouse (subject to available space). There is an initial £5-00 joining fee. To race at the club you must be a member of the MYA via HCMYC or other model yacht club. This gives you limited third party insurance cover whilst racing. MYA annual membership currently costs £11-00.
Race fees are currently £2-00 per day’s racing.

2. Junior Membership (Age 12 to 17 years of age, inclusive, at the start of season) ……………………. £8-00 per season (January to December). This entitles you to race, use the clubhouse and park up to 2 boats in the clubhouse, (subject to available space). There is an initial £5-00 joining fee. To race at the club you must be a member of the MYA via HCMYC or other model yacht club. This gives you limited third party insurance cover. MYA annual membership for juniors currently costs £5-00.
Race fees are currently £1-00 per day’s racing.

3. Associate
Membership……. £22-00 per Season (January to December).
This entitles you to use the clubhouse and park up to 2 boats in the clubhouse (subject to available space). There is an initial £5-00 joining fee. Associate members may not take part in any racing at the Club so MYA membership is not mandatory.

For skippers wishing to join during the season there may be a reduction in the Club annual membership fee depending on the date of actual joining and at the discretion of the Membership Secretary.
